It’s Jewish Book Month! Need Help Making a Selection? Let PJ Library Help You Find Something Jewish to Read

Find Yourself in a Jewish Book graphic

Jewish Book Month is a yearly celebration of Jewish literature led by the Jewish Book Council that takes place in the month leading up to Hanukkah. There are so many ways to participate in Jewish Book Month: Set up a display of books by Jewish authors with your local library (or donate some books to a Little Free Library), fundraise to coordinate a visit with a Jewish author and, of course, read something Jewish (and tell your friends!).

It’s no secret that everyone here at PJ Library loves books: reading them, making them, talking about them, so we’re thrilled to bring you a quick and easy, short (but not exhaustive) list of books to reach for this month. Use the buttons below to jump around to links from our website.

For Babies (and Toddlers)

Board books are made for babies to build a positive association with reading. They’re actually made to be chomped on, played with, and loved to pieces. PJ Library is proud to have a lot of beautiful board books for our youngest readers, both from our publishing imprint, PJ Publishing, and our partners. Here are a few to get started:
