PJ Library Wins Sydney Taylor Award

Sydney Taylor Award

PJ Library is honored to be recognized along with our founder, Harold Grinspoon, with the Sydney Taylor 2018 Body of Work Award for our work sponsoring and expanding access to high-quality Jewish children’s books.

The Sydney Taylor Book Awards are among the most prestigious in the Jewish literary community. Awarded by the Association of Jewish Libraries, they celebrate books for children and teens that meet high literary standards and authentically portray Jewish life and experiences.

We’re even more excited and proud that many authors we’ve worked with and books we love also received a Sydney Taylor Book Award or a National Jewish Book Award, the top award of the Jewish Book Council.
