Plant For Today, Plant For Tomorrow

Whether the weather is warm or wintry, it’s always a good time to plant. We recommend growing your own microgreens, just like the kit that PJ Library sent to subscribers in December. Below are tips for best results, plus other ideas for homegrown projects.

In 2020, PJ Library encouraged families to donate funds to the National Forest Foundation (NFF), and we matched those contributions dollar for dollar. With your help, we were able to help the NFF plant 81,130 new trees!

If you’re interested in continuing the efforts to help replant the nation’s forests, we encourage you to support JTree’s ongoing campaign.

Plant a Tree

“I found a fruitful world because my ancestors planted it for me. Now I’m planting for my children and my children’s children.” (Talmud, Taanit 23A)
