Does this mean grandparents will get monthly books from PJ Library too?
No, enrolling grandparents does not sign them up for a PJ Library subscription. Grandparents will not receive monthly books. Grandparents enrolled this year will receive two PJ Library books, monthly emails with great resources, updates on the books and activities their grandkid(s) are receiving, and more!
When will grandparents receive their first two PJ Library books?
Please allow 6-8 weeks for books to arrive once the grandparent account is verified.
How many grandparents can I sign up?
You can sign up all the grandparents in your children’s lives! All grandparents must be linked to an active PJ Library subscriber, so make sure you use the referral code upon sign-up or fill out the requested subscriber information.
What if my kid’s grandparents have been receiving a yearly book and resources from PJ Library?
Great! They have been part of the pilot program that made this launch possible. They will continue to receive emails, books, and resources from PJ Library with no interruption or change to their membership.
Who are PJ Library’s local partners?
PJ Library is a partnership between the Harold Grinspoon Foundation and partners who implement the program locally. In the United States and Canada local partners can be a Jewish community center, federation, or Synagogue depending on the location. These organizations do a lot to bring PJ Library to their region, including help to support the cost of the program (along with donations from families like yours) and create engagement opportunities for PJ Library families and the local Jewish community.
What can I expect if I agree to share my info with your partners?
You may hear from our partners about how they are engaging grandparents in their area or what kinds of activities they are doing for your grandkids and other kids like them. Sharing your information is the best way to hear about local programs and events that you might be interested in. If you would like to connect with a PJ Library partner visit pjlibrary.org/pjnearme.
How will I know what emails are from you and what emails are from PJ Library partners?
Emails from the PJ Library home office will be sent from grandparents@pjlibrary.org, so look for that in the “from” field. Keep in mind that unsubscribing from those emails does not mean you won’t be contacted by a partner, and vice versa.
What if I live somewhere other than the US and Canada?
At this time, we are only able to accept grandparents living at US or Canada addresses.
