Refer-a-Friend FAQs

Every current PJ Library and PJ Our Way subscribing household in the US and Canada will receive a unique referral link. During February 2024, we’ll track how many newly approved subscribers used these links to sign up for PJ Library. The referring subscriber will receive a $5 Amazon gift card for each of the first ten approved subscribers to use their link, and a $10 Amazon gift card for each one after that!

Refer-a-Friend takes place from February 1 to February 29, 2024. During that time, subscribers will receive at least one email from PJ Library each week that directs them to share a personal referral link through email, social media, or text. That link will tell PJ Library whenever a child ages 0-8 is successfully subscribed because of your recommendation.

Subscribers are welcome to share their link via emails and texts to people they know, or through personal social media accounts. You may not share this link on “freebie” or discount websites or “freebie” or discount social media accounts; mass dissemination is not permitted. See the official rules for more details.

You’re welcome to use your own words to share your love of PJ Library, but we’ve prewritten some sample messages you can quickly and easily copy, paste, and send to your friends and family.

All current PJ Library and PJ Our Way subscribers in the US and Canada are eligible to participate in Refer-a-Friend and should have received a message directing them to their link. If you cannot find your email or link, contact our customer service team at info@pjlibrary.org.

You are, of course, welcome to invite older readers to sign up for PJ Our Way, PJ Library’s program for 9-through-12-year-olds. However, Refer-a-Friend rewards are only available for referring approved subscribers to PJ Library’s program for ages 0-8.
