Can I apply for more than one Get Together?
You can submit Get Together reports on up to five (5) qualifying events and receive $100 in reimbursement for each Get Together held between January 2026 and December 2026 (and we hope you will!). That’s $500 per household!! Important note! We reserve the right not to issue reimbursements for gatherings that don’t meet our Get Together parameters, including the right to decline reports that show indications of AI-generated content. Please make sure your gathering qualifies before you host; a Get Together cannot be:
- A family gathering
- Themed around a secular holiday
- Get Togethers do not include the celebration of personal milestone events (e.g., birthday, anniversary, bris, or baby naming)
- Jewish organizational outings/events, or events open to the community.
- Intended primarily for non-Jewish attendees
- You also cannot combine multiple reimbursements for the same Get Together.
- Political in nature
Want to create your own Get Together experience?
We've provided a few themes and suggestions for Get Together events you could host, but if you've got another idea for a great gathering centered around Shabbat, Jewish holidays, culture, or values, we'd LOVE to support it! Your Get Together must also meet the following criteria:
- Invite at least two other Jewish families (other than your own), no more than 10 families.
- Center your Get Together around Shabbat, Jewish holidays, culture, or values.
How many families can I host?
You are required to have at least two other families raising Jewish children (other than your own) attend your gathering. You can host up to 10 families at your gathering. Please keep in mind that Get Togethers are intended to bring small groups of people together to deepen, renew or create new friendships.
Not sure who to invite to your Get Together? Think about families from your child’s school, camp or activities that you don’t know very well (yet). Or make it a reunion from your preschool class as the kids get older. You can also always ask your local PJ Professional to connect you with other local families; they would be delighted to make the connection!
How do Get Togethers work for PJ Our Way kids?
We would love for your PJ Our Way kids to Get Together with their friends, too! Parents need to submit the Get Together Report on behalf of their child. The Get Together can be for families or PJOW kids only. The Get Together still needs to meet the following criteria:
- Including people from at least two other Jewish families (other than your own), no more than 10 families.
- Centered around Shabbat, Jewish holidays, culture, or values.
How do I access my Get Together Report for reimbursement?

Do I need to submit photos?
In order to qualify for a Get Together reimbursement, you MUST submit at least one photo of your Get Together.
What to submit:
- 1-3 photos showcasing your Get Together.
- Photos must be original (no AI-generated images). People are always encouraged, and faces are always optional!
- If your Get Together falls on Shabbat or another Jewish holiday and it's your custom not to take photos, please send us a photo of the prep work, table setting, supplies, or some other aspect of your Get Together.
Note: Photos will not be used without your explicit permission.
Reimbursement:
