Choose Your Own Get Together

We’ve provided a few themes and suggestions for Get Togethers you could host, but these are just ideas. Get creative with your gatherings centered around Shabbat, Jewish holidays, culture, or values...or keep it simple (there’s nothing wrong with pizza for Shabbat). After your Get Together experience, you’ll fill out your Get Together Report to let us know how it went and if you’d do anything differently. We might just want to make your idea one of the recommended options for everyone! 

Your Get Together must also... 

  • Include two or more Jewish families other than your own, but no more than ten families. 
  • Center around Shabbat, Jewish holidays, culture, or values. 

The PJ Library Get Together program does not reimburse for personal milestone events (birthdays, anniversaries), Jewish organizational outings/events, or events open to the community. You may not combine multiple reimbursements for the same Get Together.

To access your Get Together Report, click the link in the PJ Library Get Together email we sent you, or use the QR code on the postcard we sent in the mail!

Post-event Get Together Reports must be submitted no later than one month after hosting your Get Together. This Get Together Report allows you to request up to $100 in reimbursement for hosting expenses for gatherings that meet our specifications...no receipts required!
