About this Community

The Jewish Federation of the Sacramento Region is the support system for your Jewish journey. We work to build a vibrant Jewish community through a wide range of opportunities and experiences. PJ Library is one of those special offerings for our young families that ensure a Jewish Sacramento now and into the future.

Every night, as parents put their children to bed, thousands of books are read to sleepy ears. What if the tales you tell your children could also enrich the Jewish values, identity, and celebrations in your family? If you are reading a PJ Library book, the stories are doing just that. PJ Library books are kid tested, age appropriate and beautifully illustrated. You'll love them as much as your kids do.

PJ Library Sacramento is more than just books and music though. Throughout the year our families gather for playgroups and other special events where you and your kids can meet new friends. These events are open to all and are a great way to connect with other families. PJ is for any family raising Jewish children; affiliated, unaffiliated, interfaith or non-traditional from 6 months through 8 years old.
