THE JEWISH FEDERATION of Greater Orange County is part of the Jewish Federations of North America, a nationwide humanitarian network that serves millions of Jews and non-Jews every day around the world. The Jewish Federation network includes 555 communities across the continent. As part of the Federation Community, the Jewish Federation of Greater Orange County helps enrich Jewish life and assist those facing hardship here at home and around the world.
The Jewish Federation of Greater Orange County serves as the coordinator and unifier of all Jewish organizational and philanthropic activities in Orange County. Federation coordinates fundraising efforts for the benefit of local, national, and international Jewish groups and organizations. For more than 30 years, the Jewish Federation has served our Greater Orange County region, representing Jewish communities from Port Jervis, Newburgh, Middletown, Florida, Walden, Monroe, and Greenwood Lake. In our region, the Federation has more than 2,500 families and works with nine synagogues, Hadassah, and the Newburgh Jewish Community Center for the benefit of the entire Jewish community.
