We don’t need to tell you that reading to your children is important. Study after study has shown it impacts a child’s development. Even the mere presence of books in a home increases the level of education they can reach. (Great news for those of us who haven’t gotten around to cleaning out the playroom in a while.)
But finding the right books and making the time to read as a family can be hard. That’s where PJ Library® comes in. When you enroll in PJ Library (that’s PJ as in pajamas), we’ll mail you a free, high-quality book or CD every month. Selected by top Jewish educators and kid-tested, the books represent the best Jewish children’s literature available today.
Age appropriate topics include Jewish holidays, traditions, values and heroes. Best of all, you can expect each book and CD to engage and delight! Families with kids ages 6 months through 8 years old with Judaism as part of their lives, are welcome to sign up, regardless of their Jewish background, knowledge, or observance.
More than books!
When you sign up for PJ Library, you’ll get all the news about upcoming PJ Library and JCC family events around Greater Ann Arbor. Open to everyone, they’re a great way to have fun and connect with other families. We hope you’ll join us!
