Nuri takes a saying from the Book of Ecclesiastes to heart: “Cast your bread upon the water, and one day it will come back to you.” He doesn’t realize just how literally this passage will play out, however! For years, Nuri throw bread crumbs into the water, feeding the fish who live below the surface. One day, Nuri falls into the water himself – and soon finds his generosity repaid.
