THE PJ LIBRARY PROGRAM is a Jewish children’s book program initiative implemented on the local level through the efforts of partner communities. Each year, the engagement professionals from those communities converge at the Annual PJ Library Conference.
In April, the Sixth Annual PJ Library Conference was held at the Pearlstone Conference & Retreat Center in Reisterstown, MD. Attendees networked, shared ideas, learned new skills, enjoyed community, and returned home reinvigorated and committed to engaging families with young children in Jewish life.
“I learned so much, met so many people, have so many new ideas, and feel incredibly inspired and ready to make PJ library the best it can be,” says Conference attendee Lissa Weinberger, manager of Jewish Education and Identity Initiatives at the Jewish Federation of Greater Vancouver. “I have great ideas about how to change how we do programming and how to harness the energy of all those parents, all of whom are so grateful for the books they receive every month.”
