Children's author and Beliefnet blogger Amy Meltzer gave a glowing review in recent weeks to Nosh, Schlep, Schluff: BabYiddish by Laurel Snyder.
Some PJ Library families will recognize the title because Nosh, Schlep, Schluff: BabYiddish was sent out to many of the Apples & Honey Age Group (6 months to 2 years) subscribers last month.
In her review, Meltzer names Laurel Snyder as being one of her favorite children’s’ book authors. Meltzer was, therefore, eager to review the new board book published by Random House.
“This baby-yiddish lexicon definitely meets many of my criteria,” Meltzer writes. “The pastel illustrations are very, very sweet. I especially adore the multiple images of children in footed pajamas, the baby clothes I miss the most.”
