Jewish Food Experience

Food can be a wonderful way to connect with friends (old and new), learn about a new culture, and fill our bellies. Let this Together Experience inspire you to try new recipes from Jewish culture around the world while having fun with friends.

Ideas to help you make this experience great:

  • Invite your friends. Remember, a Together Experience should include at least two, but no more than five, other Jewish families.
  • Choose how you will connect.  There are many options for virtual interactive gatherings including Zoom, Facetime, Google Hangouts, and Skype.
  • Pair a recipe from a different Jewish culture with a PJ Library curated playlist:
  • Learn the Shehecheyanu blessing for new experiences, like trying new food.

Suggested ways to spend your Together Experience host reimbursement:

  • Make and drop off (or ship) a recipe kit with ingredients for your friends.
  • Buy a cooking item for each friend, like an empanada mold or challah shaped pan.
  • Order fashionable/fun cooking attire like… oh, just for example, how about a PJ Library apron from our awesome Amazon store?
