The following giveaway rules apply to the PJ Library Family Haggadah follow up survey administered May 2nd 2024 through May 16th 2024.
Sponsor: The sponsor of the giveaway is the Harold Grinspoon Foundation® (“HGF”). PJ Library® is a program of HGF.
Eligibility: No purchase, payment, or donation is necessary to enter or win. This program is open to residents of United States and Canada who are 18 years of age or older as of their time of entry and are current PJ Library subscribers. Trustees, officers, and employees of HGF (and their immediate families and household members) are not eligible for the giveaway.
Promotion Entry Period: This one-time giveaway begins when the first invitation to the survey is sent (approximately May 2nd) and ends five to seven days after the final reminder is sent (approximately May 16th).
Entry: Enter the giveaway by responding to the survey email no later than five to seven days after the final reminder email is sent.
Odds of Winning: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
Prize(s): There will be three (3) grand prize winners in this giveaway. The winners will be selected within two weeks of after the close of the survey. The winners will be notified by email. The grand prize winners will receive a $100 Amazon gift card. No cash alternative or substitution of prizes will be allowed. The prize is nontransferable. Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of Winners. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by Winners is permitted. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for HGF to use Winners’ name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
Prize Delivery: The prizes will be sent to winning families in the United States and Canada by email within thirty (30) days of winner selection.
NOTICE TO WINNER: Attempts to notify potential winner will be made using the e-mail address provided at entry. HGF is not responsible for e-mail, telephone or other communication problems of any kind. If, despite reasonable efforts, a potential winner does not respond within fifteen (15) days of the first notification attempt (or such shorter time as exigencies may require), or if the prize or prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable to such potential winner, such potential winner will forfeit his or her prize and an alternate winner may be selected.
Rights Granted by You: By entering the contest and submitting information, you understand and agree that HGF, anyone acting on behalf of HGF, and HGF licensees, successors, partners, and assigns, shall have the right, where permitted by law, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use in any media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity and throughout the World, without limitation, your entry, name, statements about the Giveaway, and biographical information for news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations, and promotional purposes. without any further compensation, notice, review, or consent.
Privacy Policy: Information submitted with an entry is subject to the Privacy Policy stated on the PJ Library website.
General Conditions: The PJ Library Family Haggadah Survey Giveaway is governed by the laws of Massachusetts. By participating, entrants (a) agree that they have read and understood and agree to be bound by these Official Rules; (b) release HGF, its directors, employees, agents, officers, and partners, from any liability, loss (including late, lost, or undeliverable mail), or injury caused directly or indirectly, by participation or the use or misuse of any prize, (c) agree that HGF has the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this giveaway at our discretion, (d) agree that HGF has the right to disqualify any individual for violating the Official Rules, including, but not limited to, tampering or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Program or website or sharing, publishing, posting, or disseminating the special code designated to the individual entrant, or violating these Official Rules.
