PJ Library 2024 Refer-a-Friend Program Official Rules

Sponsor: The sponsor of the Refer-a-Friend Program is the Harold Grinspoon Foundation® (“HGF”). PJ Library® is a program of HGF.

Eligibility: No purchase, payment, or donation is necessary to participate. This program is open to PJ Library subscriber families referring friends under the age of 9 for PJ Library enrollment in the United States and Canada.

Promotion Entry Period: The Refer-a-Friend Program begins on February 1, 2024, at 8:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) and ends at 11:59 p.m. on February 29, 2024 (“Entry Period”).

Entry: Enter the Refer-a-Friend Program by sharing your personal referral link that you have received via communications from PJ Library. Only one code per family. You may share your link via your emails, texts, or personal social media accounts. You may not share this link on “freebie” or discount websites or “freebie” or discount social media accounts; mass dissemination is not permitted.

Odds of Winning: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Procedures: For every referred friend who enrolls in PJ Library during the Entry Period and such enrollment has been approved by a PJ Library Community partner, you will receive one entry to win a grand prize and a $5 Amazon gift card as a thank-you gift. If your referrals result in approved enrollments of more than 10 friends, you will receive one entry to win a grand prize and a $10 Amazon gift card for each additional approved enrollment above 10 friends.

Only approved enrollments are eligible for the gift cards and the grand prizes.

Gift Card Delivery: Enrollment approvals will be completed by April 15, 2024. The Amazon gift cards will be sent to participating families in the United States and Canada by May 31, 2024. No cash alternative or substitution of gift cards will be allowed.

Grand Prize: Four grand prizes will be awarded. One grand prize winner will receive an iPad Pro (approximately $1,300) and three additional grand prize winners will each receive the AirPods Max (approximately $550). The drawing will take place on May 15, 2024, and the winners will be notified by June 15, 2024. No cash alternative or substitution of prizes will be allowed.

The grand prizes are nontransferable. Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of Winners. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others or request for the cash equivalent by Winners is permitted. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for HGF to use Winners’ name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.

Grand Prize Delivery: The prizes will be sent to winning families in the United States and Canada within thirty (30) days of winner selection.

Notice to Winner: Attempts to notify a potential winner will be made using the email address provided at entry. HGF is not responsible for email, telephone or other communication problems of any kind. If, despite reasonable efforts, a potential winner does not respond within fifteen (15) days of the first notification attempt (or such shorter time as exigencies may require), or if the prize or prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable to such potential winner, such potential winner will forfeit his or her prize and an alternate winner may be selected.

General Conditions: The Refer-a-Friend Program is governed by the laws of Massachusetts. By participating, entrants (a) agree that they have read and understood and agree to be bound by these Official Rules; (b) release the HGF, its directors, employees, agents, officers, and partners, from any liability, loss (including late, lost, or undeliverable mail), or injury caused directly or indirectly, by participation or the use or misuse of any prize, (c) agree that the HGF has the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this giveaway at our discretion, (d) agree that the HGF has the right to disqualify any individual for violating the Official Rules, including, but not limited to, tampering or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Program or website or sharing, publishing, posting, or disseminating the special code designated to the individual entrant, or violating these Official Rules.

Rights Granted by You: By entering the contest and submitting information, you understand and agree that HGF, anyone acting on behalf of HGF, and HGF licensees, successors, partners, and assigns, shall have the right, where permitted by law, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use in any media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity and throughout the World, without limitation, your entry, name, statements about the Giveaway, and biographical information for news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations, and promotional purposes. without any further compensation, notice, review, or consent.

Privacy Policy: Information submitted with an entry is subject to the Privacy Policy stated on the PJ Library website.
