About this Community

JEWISH CHILDREN'S REGIONAL SERVICE (JCRS) is a child welfare organization dedicated to the well-being of Jewish children and youth throughout seven Southern states.

Our needs-based scholarship programs include undergraduate college aid, summer camp, subsidies to attend Jewish sleepaway camps, disaster relief, and assistance for the care, treatment, and educational support of Jewish children with special needs. Our outreach programs include PJ Library/PJ Our Way, College Connection , and the Oscar J. Tolmas Hanukkah Gift Program that provides gift bags each year to over 250 children in difficult circumstances.

JCRS is the nation's only regional Jewish child welfare organization and the oldest existing Jewish child welfare agency in the U.S.
