PJ LIBRARY is well known for its award-winning Jewish children’s books, but what about its award-winning music? Indeed, the program's music selections can also win awards, as exemplified by well-decorated musician Joanie Leeds.
WINNING SELECTION
Last month, PJ Library musician Joanie Leeds & The Nightlights took first place in the Children’s Category of the USA Songwriting Competition.
“My song ‘Family Tree’ just won first place,” Leeds announced in a statement submitted to PJ Library. “Thanks to the amazing Jonatha Brooke for singing on the song and Dean Jones for producing the track.”
“Family Tree” is a track on the Joanie Leeds CD of the same name going out to PJ families in the Challah Toast (3 to 4 Years) Age Group this year.
