Caring For The Sick

Did you know that there's a Jewish tradition about visiting those who are sick? It's called bikur cholim and it's an easy mitzvah, or commandment, to practice with kids.

This is a super easy "starter mitzvah" to embrace with children -- even very young kids can empathize with feeling sick or yucky.

Easy ways to practice bikur cholim include: dropping off soup to a house-bound friend, sending "get well" cards, visiting someone in the hospital, and Facetiming friends when they're not feeling well.
