About this Community

United Jewish Appeal Aspen Valley (UJA) secures and enriches a bright Jewish future in the Roaring Fork Valley, Israel, and around the world. Our PJ Library program seeks to engage and educate, while creating a meaningful connection to the Jewish community for young families and their children. Our work is informed and inspired by a commitment to the values of Chesed (caring and compassion), Torah (Jewish learning), Tikkun Olam (repairing the world), Tzedakah (social justice), and Klal Yisrael (coming together).

UJA is proud to partner with JEWISHcolorado (formerly the Allied Jewish Federation of Colorado) to administer the PJ Library program for families in the Aspen Valley, including children who reside within the Roaring Fork Valley in Colorado (between Aspen and Silt/Gypsum).

The mission of JEWISHcolorado is to secure, steward and share philanthropic and human resources in support of vibrant Jewish life, as well as to mobilize the community in times of need.
