About this Community

SITUATED ON NINE BEAUTIFUL ACRES in Briarcliff Manor, NY, CSI is the center for Northern Westchester's Conservative Jewish community. For 120 years, we have been a source of Jewish learning, study, worship, family programming, and social action.

CSI's Nursery School for 2 to 4 year olds provides a friendly, loving, and vibrant place for our children to grow while learning about what makes Jewish culture and practice so special and fun. Our Religious School (grades K through 7), Hebrew High School (grades 9 through 12) and our youth groups (both Kadima and the award-winning USY chapter) are brimming with enthusiastic students in preparation for Bar/Bat Mitzvah and Jewish life beyond that milestone.

The Rabbi's Circle at CSI is a member-supported program that enables us to host some of the finest speakers in the Jewish world at CSI. These speakers include Dr. Daniel Matt, Peter Beinart, Susannah Heschel, Linda Gradstein, and Jonathan Sarna among others.

We are egalitarian and welcome inter-faith families.
