About this Community

The Bay Ridge Jewish Center is an egalitarian sacred community -- committed to a dynamic Judaism that embraces tradition while being engaged in a pluralistic conversation that promotes inclusivity of all individuals. Our space is devoted to communal rituals, spirituality charity work, experiencing life's cycles, forming lifelong friendships and teaching our heritage to our children. Our mission is to make Judaism joyful and accessible, intellectually stimulating and welcoming to all regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, or physical and mental challenges. We offer a warm and friendly hand to all who enter.
