10 Things To Make With Matzah Boxes

Passover is here and your family is enjoying matzah - but what do you do with all of those empty boxes? Lots of things! Matzah boxes can be upcycled into practical household items, turned into musical instruments, or transformed into whimsical toys. We scoured the web, tested a few things at home, and are happy to present ten ways to make old matzah boxes into new items:

Jumbo Building Blocks & Play Pieces
Turn boxes into jumbo building blocks, or incorporate them as part of a play-kitchen. You can do this with any clean, leftover containers.

You can also call this a purse, carrier, container – whatever works. Change it up with different ribbons or by using modge-podge to decorate the front with family photos!

Do you have extra PJ seed paper lying around? Or did you just find yours under a stack of mail? Now you can plant your parsley and get it ready for summer! Got leftover parsley? Check out this post about ways to use parsley after Passover.

Cut up the box cover, punch a hole in the top and add a tassel, pipe cleaner, or ribbon. Let kids further embellish with stickers, paint, or glue.
