About Our Community

ACAJE/JOP envisions Jewish communities that nurture strong, positive Jewish identity, commitment to lifelong Jewish learning, participation in Jewish life and connection to Israel and klal yisrael (the Jewish people).

The mission of ACAJE/JOP is to inspire, create and nurture an environment in which individuals and families will engage in lifelong Jewish learning so that they will have strong foundations for their Jewish identity, their active participation in Jewish life, and their work in building dynamic Jewish institutions.

The PJ Library is open to children ages 6 months through 5 ½ years living in the Greater Philadelphia area (Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia Counties).

We have had an overwhelming response to the PJ Library program and have already enrolled the maximum number of children we are able to fund through our current grant.

We encourage you to complete registration so that your children may be placed on a waiting list. In the event that additional funding becomes available for PJ Library, we will enroll children from new families (children who do not have siblings receiving books) on the waiting list based on the date of registration (Once all new families are enrolled we will then begin to remove siblings of current families). We thank you for your understanding.
