The PJ Library Collaborates with the JCCA and Shalom Sesame

Shalom Sesame and the Jewish Community Center Association are creating guides for each DVD episode. The PJ Library is providing reading recommendations in each of those guides.

THE RE-LAUNCH OF SHALOM SESAME has been eagerly awaited, especially by The PJ Library, which sees the mission of Shalom Sesame as being simliar to its own. Among Shalom Sesame goals are building Jewish literacy, strengthening the Jewish family, and promoting Jewish living.

The re-launch is finally here! Shalom Sesame is partnering with the Jewish Community Center Association (JCCA), which is creating guides for each DVD episode. In turn, the JCCA asked The PJ Library for reading recommendations to include in every guide.

The first result of this three-way collaboration comes to fruition Sunday, Dec. 5, as more than 100,000 gather at JCCs across North America. This special Hanukkah celebration will include the viewing of Chanukah: The Missing Menorah, and each family will take home an episode guide in which The PJ Library is prominently featured.
